Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon follows the daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha on a journey that transcends time, linking Feudal Japan with the present day through the legacy of the Inuyasha world. In Feudal Japan, the half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa stumbles into a mysterious tunnel that carries her into present-day Japan, where Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota Higurashi, finds her and raises her with his family. Growing up far from the era of demons, Towa never stops searching for the sister she lost.
Ten years later, the tunnel connecting the two eras reopens, finally allowing Towa to reunite with Setsuna. The reunion is far from simple: Setsuna has become a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku, and to Towa’s shock she has lost all memories of her older sister. Their path soon joins Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, and the three young women begin traveling between modern and feudal Japan. As they face demons and pursue the truth behind their broken past, their adventure centers on recovering what was lost, restoring Setsuna’s memories, and understanding the ties that still bind their families across time.
