Synopsis
Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de follows the Literature Club after five students suddenly awaken supernatural abilities during an otherwise ordinary meeting. For Jurai Andou, a devoted chuunibyou who loves dramatic declarations and the image of fighting with black flames, the change is a dream come true even if his own power is little more than a theatrical gimmick with no practical use. The rest of the club is far more formidable: Tomoyo Kanzaki can manipulate time, Jurai's childhood friend Hatoko Kushikawa controls the five elements, club president Sayumi Takanashi can repair both inanimate objects and living things, and their faculty adviser's niece, Chifuyu Himeki, can create objects out of thin air.
As the reason behind their powers remains a mystery, the series follows how schoolwork, club activities, awkward friendships, and half-serious rivalries continue under the shadow of the impossible. Each member of the club must learn how to share ordinary days while also dealing with abilities that are far too strange for a normal school life, and the result is a mix of comedy, sincerity, and low-stakes supernatural tension. The story balances playful banter with small emotional shifts, showing how the ordinary and the extraordinary slowly begin to overlap without ever losing sight of the group's everyday bonds.
