Togainu no Chi unfolds in a ruined future Japan after a third world war leaves the country in rubble and allows the organization Vischio to seize Tokyo, rename it Toshima, and turn its back alleys into a lawless arena. In that violent city, survival is governed by two brutal fighting games. Igura is Vischio’s blood-soaked tournament, where contestants battle for the right to challenge the king, Il-re. Bl@ster, by contrast, forbids murder and weapons, and victory comes only by knocking out an opponent.
Akira is a young man isolated from his family who has built a reputation as an undefeated Bl@ster fighter. That life collapses when he is accused of murder and cannot prove his innocence. With nowhere else to turn, he meets a mysterious woman named Emma, who offers him a chance to survive. To regain his freedom, Akira must enter Igura, endure the violence of Toshima, and fight his way toward Il-re. As he moves deeper into that world, every alley in Toshima reflects Vischio’s control and every match pushes him closer to the truth behind his accusation.
