Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo follows Makoto Konno, a high school student whose ordinary days are abruptly changed when she gains the power to leap back through time. At first, she treats the ability as a convenient way to correct mistakes, avoid embarrassing moments, and make small everyday problems disappear. What seems like a harmless gift, however, quickly reveals its limits: every leap alters the world around her in ways she cannot fully control, and each attempt to make life easier carries an unexpected cost. As the school year continues, Makoto is pushed to confront the consequences of tampering with time and the strain it creates in her relationships with Chiaki and Kousuke. The film blends romance, drama, and science fiction while capturing the uncertainty of growing up, the importance of honest connections, and the painful understanding that some moments cannot be taken back. In Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, time travel is not simply a shortcut, but a choice that forces Makoto to decide what she is willing to lose.
