Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken follows thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami, a typical corporate worker in Tokyo who is content with his monotonous life, even if he has never managed to find a girlfriend. After a casual encounter with a colleague, he is suddenly stabbed by a random assailant on the street. As he succumbs to his wounds, a strange voice echoes in his mind and recites a series of commands he cannot understand. When Satoru wakes up, he discovers that he has reincarnated in an unfamiliar realm as a slime. In this new form, he gains the ability to devour anything and mimic its appearance and abilities, giving him far greater potential than his humble body suggests. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Veldora, a Catastrophe-level Storm Dragon sealed away for the last 300 years after reducing a town to ashes. Feeling sympathy for the dragon’s situation, Satoru befriends him and promises to help destroy the seal. In return, Veldora grants him the name Rimuru Tempest to bestow divine protection. Freed from the mundanities of his former life, Rimuru begins a new existence in which his gooey antics ripple across the world and gradually reshape his fate.
