Taishou Otome Otogibanashi

Taishou Otome Otogibanashi follows Tamahiko Shima, a self-styled pessimist who lives alone in the mountains of Chiba after a car accident leaves him unable to use his right hand and takes his mother’s life. Deemed incapable by his father and the rest of his wealthy relatives, he is forced into exile and spends his days reading in isolation while sleepless nights feed his sense of anger, shame, and resignation. Proud of the Shima name yet convinced that his life has already been ruined, Tamahiko has settled into a bleak routine, expecting nothing more than to remain hidden away and wait for death to end his suffering. That solitude is interrupted on a snowy night when a knock at the door brings Yuzuki Tachibana into his life. Calmly, she introduces herself as his future wife, and Tamahiko remembers the promise his father made to send him a bride who could help him manage the daily burdens caused by his injury.
