Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai

In Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai, transfer student Aya Mitsuki arrives at the elite Kuromi Girls' Academy determined to reinvent herself as a proper lady. A month into her new life, that goal seems within reach when she becomes captivated by Mio Yorue, the school's dazzling "White Lily," whose grace and elegance embody everything Aya wants to be. The image collapses after school, when Aya discovers that Mio is passionately playing a fighting game, a side of her completely at odds with the refined persona she presents on campus. Mio quickly pulls the inexperienced Aya into a duel, and their encounters turn into a rivalry driven by reflexes, pride, and the sharp contrast between outward decorum and private obsession. While trying to preserve her dream of becoming ladylike, Aya must also navigate the pressure of fitting in at a prestigious girls' academy where appearances are often deceptive. The series blends school-life comedy and tense competitive matches, building its story around the awkward bond that forms between Aya and Mio as they challenge each other both in and out of the game.
