In Sunabouzu, the Great Kanto Desert has swallowed post-apocalyptic Japan, leaving behind a sweltering wasteland of ruins, dunes, and desperate survivors. Ordinary people scrape by as best they can, while those hardened by the merciless Kanto sun turn the desert into a place to build reputations, settle scores, and survive by force or deception.
At the center of that chaos is the masked handyman known as Sunabouzu, or Desert Punk, a legendary fixer who always finishes a job no matter how ugly the work becomes or what it costs him. Cunning, ruthless, and infamous for his crude destructiveness, he is feared across the desert. Yet Junko Asagiri, the “Vixen of the Desert,” soon learns that beneath his swagger lies a very simple weakness: he is easily swayed by his insatiable lust for large-breasted desert babes.
As Sunabouzu and Junko stumble through the Kanto Desert, they cross paths with a bizarre cast of personalities who treat violence, greed, and perversion as everyday entertainment. In a world ruined long ago by their forefathers, survival is possible, but learning anything from the chaos is another matter entirely.
