Shangri-La Frontier

Shangri-La Frontier follows Rakurou Hizutome, a high school student whose idea of fun is clearing notoriously broken "trash games" filled with bugs, unfair design, and absurd mechanics. Online, he is known as Sunraku, and the instincts he built by surviving those rough titles become his greatest advantage when he enters Shangri-La Frontier, a wildly popular VRMMO that looks polished on the surface but still demands sharp timing, patience, and creativity. Rather than approaching the game like an ordinary player, Rakurou treats every encounter as a puzzle to be solved through observation and improvisation. He pushes his avatar through dangerous quests, powerful monsters, and eccentric rival players, turning unconventional tactics into a strength as he explores a vast world built around challenge and discovery. As his unusual playstyle begins to attract attention, Shangri-La Frontier follows his rise through a competitive virtual landscape where even the best game can punish the careless and reward those willing to adapt.
