Seitokai no Ichizon centers on Ken Sugisaki, the vice president of Hekiyou Academy’s student council, who claws his way into the only open seat by raising his exam scores high enough to qualify. Ken has spent his school life imagining student council duty as a carefree harem paradise filled with snacks, games, and days surrounded by beautiful girls who adore him, but the reality is far less romantic. The council room he enters is cramped, chaotic, and dominated by girls who are much more interested in keeping the academy running than indulging his daydreams.
At Hekiyou Academy, most council officers are chosen by popular vote, while one position is reserved for the top-scoring student, and Ken slips into that role with little idea of how demanding it will be. The rest of the council keeps brushing off his advances while handling school events, club business, and the ordinary work that keeps student life in order. Every meeting turns into a clash between Ken’s wish fulfillment and the practical responsibilities of the council, with stubborn personalities, fast banter, and constant friction between fantasy and duty driving the comedy.
