Net-juu no Susume

In Recovery of an MMO Junkie, 30-year-old Moriko Morioka surprises herself by quitting the job she had held for 11 years and settling into unemployment with an enthusiasm that borders on relief. Instead of looking for a quick return to office life, she spends her days in the MMO Fruits de Mer, where she creates a male avatar named Hayashi and enjoys the freedom of living as a handsome, capable hero. In that world she meets Lily, a kind and adorable healer whose easy friendship quickly becomes the center of Moriko's new routine. As Moriko grows more attached to her online life, she also becomes increasingly reclusive in reality, leaving her apartment only when absolutely necessary. Meanwhile, Yuuta Sakurai, a timid 28-year-old corporate worker on the other side of town, is also spending time in Fruits de Mer without knowing how closely his path is about to cross with Moriko's. When the two accidentally run into each other at a convenience store one night, they dismiss it as a brief and awkward coincidence. But that meeting quietly opens the door to a relationship shaped by online anonymity, real-world hesitation, and the possibility of genuine connection.
