Punch Line

Punch Line opens with Yuuta Iridatsu surviving a bus hijacking thanks to the masked superhero Strange Juice, only to find that his soul has been separated from his body and placed in the care of Chiranosuke, a perverse cat spirit. Unable to return to normal, Yuuta drifts through the Korai House while watching over the other residents who share his strange home: Meika Daihatsu, a genius inventor; Mikatan Narugino, a cheerful idol; Ito Hikiotani, a shut-in NEET; and Rabura Chichibu, a spiritual medium. Everything changes when Yuuta catches a glimpse of Narugino's undergarments and Chiranosuke reveals that he becomes exponentially stronger whenever he sees panties. The power comes with a catastrophic catch: if he sees another pair while he is still a spirit, his strength will cause an asteroid to crash into the Earth, ending the world and killing his friends. As the mysteries surrounding Korai House begin to surface, Punch Line follows Yuuta through the tangled truth behind the residence, its inhabitants, and a villainous organization attempting to bring about the end of the world. Yuuta's only chance is to piece together what is happening, protect the people around him, and survive the ever-present threat that a single embarrassing glance could trigger the apocalypse.
