Onegai AiPri follows Konomi Inori, a first-year middle school student who has just moved to the town of Onegai and is still trying to find her place there. In the town plaza, she stands before a goddess statue and makes a wish to become an AiPri and to enter the world she has been dreaming about. That prayer leads her to a chance meeting with Aoi Yumemiya, the well-known AiPri, and Fortu, a mysterious talking stuffed toy who is searching for an AiPri capable of making a wish come true. When Aoi gives Konomi a special mirror pact, the dream she had only hoped for begins to turn into something real. As Konomi steps into the AiPri world, she discovers that it is not just a place to admire from afar but a space where courage, friendship, and determination matter. With Aoi guiding her through this new setting and Fortu continuing his search, Konomi starts taking her first real steps toward the future she has imagined, turning longing into action and hope into a path forward.
