Nourin follows idol-obsessed Kousaku Hata, whose world collapses when his favorite star, Yuka Kusakabe, unexpectedly retires at the height of her career. Unable to accept the news, he withdraws into a self-imposed isolation, fixated on the loss of the performer he admired most.
When his friends finally persuade him to return to school, Kousaku is stunned by an impossible coincidence: Yuka has transferred into his class under the name Ringo Kinoshita. With the support of his teacher and friends, he throws himself into the chance to get closer to the girl of his dreams while trying to understand why she left the entertainment industry. Day after day, his ordinary school life becomes entangled with fandom, secrecy, and the awkwardness of speaking to someone who once existed only as a distant idol. As Kousaku tries to read Ringo’s intentions and manage his own excitement, Nourin turns that strange reunion into a story about longing, confusion, and the uneasy distance between celebrity and everyday life.
