Ninja Kamui centers on Joe Logan, a former ninja assassin who has buried his past and built a quiet life in the countryside with his wife and child under false identities. For a time, the Logan family believes they have escaped the violent world Joe left behind, even as a string of high-profile murders begins taking the lives of his former peers and the shadow of his old clan draws closer.
When his family is slaughtered and Joe is left for dead, the life he tried to protect is destroyed in an instant. He wakes up in a hospital, survives another attempt on his life, and is forced to rely on the secret techniques he once tried to abandon. As detectives Emma Samanda and Mike Moriss investigate the killings, they are pulled into the aftermath of Joe's attack and the organization he once served.
From there, Ninja Kamui becomes a relentless revenge story about betrayal, hidden identities, and lethal old loyalties, with Joe cutting through the forces tied to his past in a fight to destroy the world that made him.
