After graduating from high school, she lands a job at Eagle Jump, the company behind her favorite game, and joins the team preparing Fairies Story 3 under Kou Yagami, the lead character designer. For Aoba, the studio becomes the place where a lifelong love of games turns into the reality of making them. At Eagle Jump, Aoba works alongside coworkers whose strengths and quirks shape the development department's daily rhythm. Yun Iijima specializes in monster design, Hifumi Takimoto is shy and prefers to communicate through instant messages, Hajime Shinoda is an animation team member with an impressive figurine collection, Rin Tooyama serves as the orderly art director, Shizuku Hazuki directs the game while bringing her cat to work, and Umiko Ahagon keeps the programmers in line as the short-tempered head programmer.
