Musaigen no Phantom World

Myriad Colors Phantom World is set in a version of Japan where phantoms—supernatural beings such as ghosts and youkai once dismissed as superstition—have always existed alongside humanity. When a virus that affects the brain changes the way people perceive the world, these hidden creatures become visible to the public and a new generation of young people awakens special abilities, giving them the means to confront phantoms that can disturb everyday life. At Hosea Academy, Haruhiko Ichijou and Mai Kawakami are among the gifted students who adapt to this new reality. Haruhiko can summon and seal phantoms through drawings, while Mai channels elemental power into martial arts. Together with Ruru, a friendly phantom, they form Team E, a group dedicated to dealing with phantoms that are often more mischievous than malicious. Between school routines and supernatural incidents, Haruhiko, Mai, and Ruru move through a world where the real and the surreal constantly overlap, turning ordinary problems into encounters with the strange and the unseen.
