Jigoku Sensei Nube

Jigoku Sensei Nube centers on Meisuke Nueno, better known as Nube, a schoolteacher with a warm heart and a secret that sets him apart from everyone around him: his left hand is possessed by a demon. At Domori Elementary, he becomes the reluctant protector of his students, standing between ordinary school life and the yokai, curses, and restless spirits that threaten it. What begins as a supernatural classroom story grows into a long-running franchise built on eerie mysteries, comic banter, and the bond between teacher and children as they confront dangers hidden in everyday places. The series mixes horror, action, and humor while keeping the focus on Nube's duty to shield the people under his care. Across the franchise, his encounters with ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural forces test both his courage and the limits of his power, while the classroom remains the heart of the story. Even when the threats escalate, the emotional center stays the same: a teacher who refuses to abandon the children depending on him, and a school where everyday life can turn into a battle against the unknown at any moment.
