Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon

The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess centers on Terakomari "Komari" Gandesblood, a young vampire from the prestigious Gandesblood family who has spent the past three years as a self-proclaimed professional shut-in. In a world where death is not permanent, Komari still cannot overcome her biggest weaknesses: she cannot use magic, and she cannot even drink blood. After once trying to live up to her family’s expectations, she gave up on the dream of becoming an imperial general like her ancestors and resigned herself to a quiet, unnoticed life. That plan falls apart when a misunderstanding with her father unexpectedly places her among the Seven Crimson Lords, the Mulnite Empire’s strongest fighters and most feared generals. Forced to command soldiers while hiding her complete lack of talent, Komari must keep them from realizing she is unfit to rule, or they may try to overthrow her. With the help of her newly assigned maid, Villhaze, she survives by convincing her unit that she is a ruthless warlord determined to conquer the world. The deception works too well, and as more people come to admire Komari, her precarious position grows even more dangerous. Matters become even worse when a vampire from her past returns with every intention of killing her for good, pulling Komari deeper into a struggle she is nowhere near prepared to face.
