Hanazakari no Kimitachi e follows Mizuki Ashiya, a girl who leaves the United States for Japan after falling for high jumper Izumi Sano. In Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, she transfers to Sano’s elite academy hoping to stay close to him, only to discover that it is an all-boys school. Rather than back away, Mizuki disguises herself as a boy, learns the rhythms of the dorms, and tries to keep her secret intact while adapting to daily school life.
Living under the same roof as Sano turns her crush into a constant source of tension, especially because she ends up sharing a room with him.
