Hamatora

Hamatora unfolds in Yokohama, where miracles exist in the form of “Minimums,” supernatural abilities that only a select few awaken. Those gifted individuals, known as Minimum Holders, live in a city that treats their powers as both an asset and a threat. At the center of the story is Yokohama Troubleshooting, the detective agency better known as Hamatora, run by the “Minimum Holder PI Duo” Nice and Murasaki from a lone table inside Cafe Nowhere. With their coworkers, they handle odd jobs and local cases that often seem minor until they reveal how dangerous life can be for people whose abilities set them apart. Their routine is shattered when a series of murders begins claiming Minimum Holders one after another, drawing the attention of Art, a police officer and an old friend of the agency. What starts as a string of isolated deaths grows into a larger investigation, pushing Nice and Murasaki toward hidden links between the victims and the force behind the killings. Across the franchise, Hamatora balances quick banter and low-key detective work with a citywide conflict about power, identity, and loyalty.
