Golden Time follows Banri Tada, a first-year law student in Tokyo who is trying to rebuild his life after a traumatic accident leaves him with amnesia and only scattered fragments of a past he cannot fully remember. As he settles into campus routines, he reconnects with Mitsuo Yanagisawa and is quickly pulled into the unpredictable orbit of Kouko Kaga, whose forceful personality turns ordinary university days into a volatile mix of romance, friendship, and self-discovery.
Set among university clubs, shared apartments, and uncertain futures, Golden Time balances comedy and drama while tracing Banri's effort to form a stable identity in the present without losing sight of the life he can no longer fully access. The series captures the awkwardness and excitement of early adulthood, when new bonds are fragile, old memories can surface at the wrong moment, and even the people closest to you may not fully know who you are. At its heart, Golden Time explores how love and personal history can both anchor and unsettle a future that is still being written.
