Dantalian no Shoka

In Dantalian no Shoka, Lord Hugh Anthony Disward—known as Huey—returns to a legacy he barely understands when he inherits a secluded manor from his grandfather, a famous collector of rare books. The inheritance is not just property, but a responsibility: he must safeguard the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, a hidden archive of forbidden knowledge buried within the family estate, and care for Dalian, the enigmatic girl bound to the library itself. Drawn from one mystery to the next, Huey steps into a world of occult investigations, dangerous rivals, and Phantom Books—cursed tomes whose power can ruin anyone reckless enough to seek them. At Dalian’s side, he begins to uncover the secrets sealed inside the archive while learning how thin the line is between curiosity and catastrophe. As their uneasy partnership deepens, Dantalian no Shoka follows their journey through mystery and adventure, where every answer has a cost and every book may conceal a threat.
