Chrono Crusade

Chrono Crusade is set in the turbulent 1920s, when demons begin appearing across America and the Holy Order of Magdalene is forced to stand as humanity’s first line of defense. In New York, the Order relies on Sister Rosette Christopher, a reckless but fiercely capable exorcist whose gunfights and headlong charges often leave as much wreckage behind as the monsters she destroys. At her side is Chrno, a demon bound to the Order and connected to Rosette by a shared past that makes every battle more personal than the last. As supernatural outbreaks spread and the decade grows increasingly violent, Rosette keeps pushing toward the one answer she cannot let go of: the disappearance of her brother Joshua, who was taken by the sinner and demon Aion. The search ties together the Order’s mission, Chrno’s uneasy place within it, and the darker forces gathering behind the demonic attacks. Between protecting New York, confronting the truth behind Joshua’s vanishing, and living with the weight of old promises, Rosette and Chrno must keep moving forward even as the past threatens to consume them.
