Centaur no Nayami, also known as A Centaur's Life, follows Himeno, a sweet, shy centaur girl trying to get through high school in a world where nearly everyone is a supernatural creature. Her classmates may have horns, wings, tails, halos, or other visible supernatural body parts, but for her they are simply part of everyday life.
Despite that fantastical setting, the story stays close to Himeno's friendships and small daily concerns. Alongside her best friends Nozomi and Kyouko, she moves through a fun, mostly normal school life, where classroom routines, conversations, and the awkwardness of growing up matter just as much as the world's strange physical differences. Adapted from Kei Murayama's manga, the anime uses its unusual cast to frame ordinary teenage life through a supernatural lens.
