Cardcaptor Sakura

Cardcaptor Sakura follows ten-year-old Sakura Kinomoto, whose ordinary school life in Tomoeda changes when she opens a mysterious book called "The Clow." A magical wind scatters the Clow Cards across town and awakens Keroberos, the Beast of the Seal, whom Sakura quickly nicknames Kero. He reveals that the cards are powerful, self-willed creations of the sorcerer Clow Reed, sealed away because they could endanger the world. Chosen as the new Cardcaptor, Sakura receives the Sealed Key and the impossible task of finding every lost card before its magic causes more trouble. With Kero guiding her and her best friend Tomoyo Daidouji supporting her from the sidelines, Sakura balances homework, school, and the secret responsibilities that come with protecting Tomoeda. Each card she captures tests her courage, kindness, and growing resolve, turning what begins as a quiet magical hunt into a story of friendship, responsibility, and wonder. Across the Cardcaptor Sakura franchise, that blend of everyday warmth and escalating magical stakes remains at the heart of Sakura’s journey.
