In C, money rules not only daily life but the shape of the future itself. Kimimaro Yoga, a second-year economics student in a country where the economy has collapsed, lives with the constant pressure of choosing between ambition and survival while watching classmates enjoy a comfort he can barely imagine. His life changes when Masakaki, a stranger in a top hat, appears and offers him a way out: a chance to enter the Eastern Financial District, a hidden realm where wealth seems limitless to anyone willing to stake their future on it. Once there, Yoga becomes an Entre and learns that the District is no miracle. It is an alternate world built in the image of his own, where Entres are drawn into weekly Deals and forced to gamble their collateral in brutal battles. As Yoga moves between the suffering of his own country and the District's merciless logic, he is pulled into a system where every gain carries a cost. To protect his fortune and his future, he has to decide how far he can go in a world where money can buy almost anything except freedom from consequences.
