Brave 10 is set in Japan's Warring States period, where the shrine maiden Isanami is forced to flee after a group of evil ninja burns her temple in Izumo to the ground and slaughters everyone inside. With nowhere safe to turn, she meets Saizou Kirigakure, a masterless ninja from the Iga school, and the two make their way to Ueda Castle to ask Yukimura Sanada for help. When Isanami's strange and devastating power is revealed, Sanada agrees to protect her and gathers ten brave warriors to stand at his side.
From there, Brave 10 follows Saizou and Isanami across war-torn lands as they search for fighters strong enough to serve under Yukimura's banner, with each warrior bringing a powerful skill of their own. As they move from place to place in search of allies, they must also fend off those who want to seize the dark power Isanami carries for themselves. The series blends historical conflict with supernatural danger as Saizou and Isanami struggle to survive the chaos surrounding them, and the uneasy bond between a fugitive priestess and a lone ninja becomes the heart of their fight.
