Blade & Soul unfolds in a brutal fantasy world where clans, assassins, and martial artists fight for power and survival. The title follows Alka, a young assassin raised in the Clan of the Sword, whose life is defined by the vow she carries to track down Jin Valel, the woman responsible for her master Hon's death. What begins as a single-minded revenge mission quickly draws her into a wider struggle shaped by shifting loyalties, hidden motives, and constant danger.
As Blade & Soul moves through this violent landscape, Alka encounters three powerful women whose alliances and intentions are difficult to read, and each meeting pushes her farther from the life she was trained to accept. The more she travels, the more she is pulled into the contradictions of her own path, forced to weigh duty against survival and to face Hon's wish that she abandon assassination altogether. Caught between the purpose that has driven her and the possibility of another future, Alka must decide whether revenge is the only answer left to her.
