Amagami

Amagami centers on Junichi Tachibana, a shy high school boy who has spent two years trying to recover from being stood up on Christmas Eve and the embarrassment that followed. That wound has made it hard for him to be honest about what he wants, especially when romance starts to feel close again. As the holiday season approaches, Junichi's everyday life pulls him toward a circle of girls whose feelings and histories intersect with his in different ways: Haruka Morishima, the energetic and popular upperclassman with a soft spot for cute things; Kaoru Tanamachi, his childhood friend who quietly hides her feelings; Sae Nakata, the timid transfer student who feels awkward around men; Ai Nanasaki, the swim team girl whose first encounter with Junichi gets off on the wrong foot; Rihoko Sakurai, another childhood friend with a sweet tooth and a long-simmering affection of her own; and Tsukasa Ayatsuji, the seemingly perfect class representative whose polished image masks a far darker side. With Christmas Eve approaching once more, Junichi has to confront his fear of rejection and decide whether he can finally open his heart to the girl he truly loves.
