About the song
Kimi ga Yume wo Tsuretekita is the first opening theme of Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou / さくら荘のペットな彼女), the 2012 television anime from J.C.Staff. It was performed by Mariko Nakatsu, Takamori Natsumi, and Ai Kayano, and its upbeat J-Pop arrangement matches the series' school-life setting.
Composed by Elements Garden, the song was released as a single on November 7, 2012. Its bright melody and catchy chorus place it firmly within the anime-pop style associated with the period.
