ZORN (born 杉山雄基 on February 16, 1989) is a Japanese hip-hop MC from Shinkoiwa, Katsushika, Tokyo. Active since 2004, he began rapping at 15 and first came to prominence under the name ZONE THE DARKNESS through MC battles. He won THE罵倒 three years in a row and placed highly in events including B BOY PARK U-20 MC BATTLE and ULTIMATE MC BATTLE. In 2009, he self-released his first album, "心象スケッチ".
In 2014, he joined 昭和レコード, headed by 般若, and adopted the name ZORN. He later appeared on the 2018 collaboration album "MAX" as part of 般若 x ZORN x SHINGO★西成, toured with AKLO on A to Z TOUR 2018, and announced his departure from 昭和レコード in 2019. His lyrics are noted for their grounding in everyday life and dense rhyme patterns, and he also performed on "FUNKIN' BEAUTIFUL feat. ZORN", the opening theme of Hidarikiki no Eren.
In 2021, he held the solo concerts "My Life at 日本武道館" and "無題" at Yokohama Arena.
