UNLIMITS (アンリミッツ) is a Japanese rock band formed in April 2002 and signed to Sony Records. The group centers on Yoko Shimizu (清水葉子) on guitar and vocals and Yoko Gunjima (郡島陽子) on drums and vocals, with Naokazu Ishijima (石島直和) on bass and Yoshitaka Otsuki (大月義隆) on guitar.
Known for guitar-driven rock and emotionally direct songwriting, UNLIMITS has built a melodic style that fits both the Japanese rock scene and anime music listeners. The band has also contributed to anime through the opening theme for Kyoukai no Kanata, a credit that brought additional attention to its catalog. Over the years, UNLIMITS has undergone lineup changes, including former members Takeshi Terashima (寺島武志), who was in the group from 2003 to 2005, and Rei Ito (伊藤玲) in 2006. Even with those changes, the band has kept a clear musical identity and a consistent presence in modern Japanese rock.
