TVXQ

TVXQ (stylized as TVXQ!), also known in Japan as Tohoshinki (東方神起 Tōhōshinki) and abbreviated as DBSK from their Korean name Dong Bang Shin Ki (동방신기, meaning "Rising Gods of the East"), is a South Korean pop group that debuted on 2003-12-26 under SM Entertainment. The name TVXQ stands for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (Chinese: 東方神起). Best known today as a duo made up of U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin (Choikang Changmin), TVXQ originally launched as a five-member group and later became one of the most recognizable acts in East Asian pop music. Their music has been released in Korean, Japanese, and occasionally Chinese, and their style is rooted in k-pop, pop, and ballad. The group is especially noted for its dynamic performances and vocal prowess, which helped build a strong following across Asia. TVXQ’s history also includes the earlier lineup of Hero Jaejoong (Youwoong Jaejoong), Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu, whose place in the group remains an important part of its story.
