Tsukuyomi (月詠み)

Tsukuyomi (月詠み) is a Japanese music project formed on 10 October 2020 by Yurry Canon. It began in October 2020 as a band of the same name, then shifted in 2021 to its current format, with Yurry Canon as the sole member and different production collaborators assembled for each work. Working in j-pop and rock, the project presents its music as part of larger story-based works. Its first release, 「こんな命がなければ」, was posted on 10 October 2020. Its first story cycle reworked Yurry Canon’s VOCALOID song 「だれかの心臓になれたなら」 and related songs. Tsukuyomi released the 1st mini album 「欠けた心象、世のよすが」 in 2021, followed by the 2nd mini album 「月が満ちる」 in 2022 and the 1st EP 「アナザームーン」 in 2023. In anime, Tsukuyomi performed 「Kyuuseishu (救世主)」, the opening theme for "Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu."
