Also known as: Suzumu · Hiroki Suzuki · 鈴木大記 · ANCHOR
Biography
suzumu, the stage name of Hiroki Suzuki (born April 19, 1992), is a Japanese songwriter, arranger, musician, and Vocaloid producer. He began working as a writer in his teens, and in 2014 he contributed songs to 米澤円’s album 『さえずりの夢、彩とり鳥のセカイ』. His official website is http://nbcuni-music.com/suzumu/.
His work is rooted in Japanese online music culture, especially where Vocaloid and utaite releases overlap. The credit suzumu feat. soraru denotes a collaboration rather than a full-time band. It refers to his work with soraru, a Japanese vocalist and utaite born on November 3, 1988, whose solo work is associated with j-pop and singer-songwriter music and whose official website is soraruru.jp. As suzumu feat. soraru, the pair performed "Zetsubousei: Hero Chiryouyaku (絶望性:ヒーロー治療薬)", the ending theme of Danganronpa.
He began activities under the name ANCHOR in 2016. In 2017 he formed the sound creator unit ZiNG, where he handles song production. In 2022, after launching the creator circle ヤネウラ書房, he announced his major debut as an artist through VIA/TOY'S FACTORY. In 2025 he took charge of song writing and production for the music group 「名称非公開」. In 2026 he formed Ando with タケヤキ翔 and 廣瀬大介, and was also announced as lyricist, composer, and arranger for "人生エンドロール", the opening theme of 乙女ゲー世界はモブに厳しい世界です2.
