Sunao from STAR☆ANIS

Sunao is a Japanese singer associated with STAR☆ANIS, the idol unit formed in 2012 from performers at Dear Stage in Akihabara for the Aikatsu! franchise. In October 2012, the group made its major-label debut on Lantis with the single "Signalize!/カレンダーガール". Sunao took part in its work for the television anime "Aikatsu!", including the opening themes "Diamond Happy (ダイヤモンドハッピー)" and "KIRA☆Power" and the ending theme "Calendar Girl (カレンダーガール)". She was part of STAR☆ANIS during its early Aikatsu! activity, before leaving the unit after its December 28, 2013 year-end mini live at Queen's Square Yokohama. STAR☆ANIS continued as one of the principal vocal groups linked to "Aikatsu!", with music centered on J-pop and soundtrack releases.
