Biography
Sokoninaru (そこに鳴る) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2011 and known for its three-member lineup, with every current member contributing vocals. The group consists of Juukou Suzuki on vocals and guitar, Misaki Fujiwara on vocals and bass, and Shouto Saitou on vocals and drums, while former drummer Tomohiro Takemura was part of the band’s earlier formation. That shared-vocal setup has helped Sokoninaru build a distinct identity in Japan’s rock scene, where the band stands out for turning a compact lineup into a layered and energetic sound.
Musically, Sokoninaru is associated with alternative rock, indie rock, and j-rock. Their songs are driven by tightly controlled arrangements, sharp rhythmic shifts, interlocking guitar-bass-drum patterns, and melodic hooks that keep the music intense without losing accessibility. This balance of precision and momentum has also made the band relevant to listeners searching for anime openings and other anime-related songs. In 2026, Sokoninaru announced a one-man tour to commemorate the release of its third album, Zetsubou no Fuchi Demo (絶望の淵でも), reinforcing its profile as a modern Japanese rock act with a clear connection to anime music culture.
