SNoW

SNoW is a Japanese singer-songwriter whose music sits in an atmospheric strain of J-pop, blending acoustic pop with folk-leaning melodies and restrained arrangements. Her songs are built around intimate vocals, clear melody lines, and emotional precision. They tend to favor mood over heaviness, often with a reflective, understated tone. She drew wider attention in the mid-2000s through her work in anime, including the Jigoku Shoujo openings "Sakasama no Chou (逆さまの蝶)" and "NightmaRe". Those recordings carry the same emphasis on melody, gentle tension, and delicate emotional tone that runs through her broader catalog.
