Sexy Zone

Sexy Zone was a Japanese J-pop idol group formed on September 29, 2011, under Johnny & Associates, with music released through Pony Canyon. The original lineup was Shori Sato, Kento Nakajima, Fuma Kikuchi, Marius Yo, and Sou Matsushima. The group announced its formation and CD debut on the same day, then made its recorded debut with the single "Sexy Zone" on November 16, 2011. In 2012, it held its first solo concert, "Sexy Zone First Concert 2012", and released its first original album, "one Sexy Zone". The group first appeared on NHK's Kōhaku Uta Gassen in 2013 and returned each year through 2018. In 2014, Sexy Zone shifted to a three-member core centered on Kento Nakajima, Fuma Kikuchi, and Shori Sato. At the same time, it presented the related units Sexy 松（Show） and Sexy Boyz as part of the broader "Sexy Family" project. The lineup changed again when Marius Yo stepped away from entertainment in 2022 and Kento Nakajima left the group in 2024. That same year, Sexy Zone rebranded as timelesz and began an audition project to add new members. During the final stage under the Sexy Zone name, the group performed "Kimi no Sei (君のせい)" as the opening theme of "Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai".
