Biography

Sambomaster is a Japanese alternative rock and J-rock band formed in February 2000. The trio consists of Takashi Kiuchi, Yoichi Kondo, and Takashi Yamaguchi. Takashi Yamaguchi and Takashi Kiuchi formed the band while they were part of a light music circle at Toyo University, and Yoichi Kondo later joined to complete the three-piece lineup. The group records under Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and its official website is sambomaster.com. Sambomaster made its major debut in 2003. In 2005, it reached a wider audience with "Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobun da ze." The band also became known through anime work, performing the Naruto openings "Seishun Kyosokyoku (青春狂騒曲)" and "Hajimatteiku Takamatteiku (はじまっていく たかまっていく)," and recording ending themes for Bleach and Kuragehime.
