ROCKY CHACK is a Japanese J-pop group formed in 1998. It debuted that year as a five-member band. Within its first six months, it released three maxi singles, followed by an album and a mini-album.
In 2000, the group participated in the launch of the label OUTSIDE. Through Sony Music Entertainment, it released a single in July and its second album in September. Activity then stopped that October, when the label suddenly dissolved and ceased operations.
After several years without prominent public activity, ROCKY CHACK resumed at the end of 2005 as the duo of Taro Yamashita and 有馬野絵. Since restarting, the group has been centered on 有馬野絵 and has worked mainly on anime theme songs. It returned in 2006 with the single "リトルグッバイ", used as the ending theme for "ゼーガペイン". Later, it performed "Ringo Biyori (リンゴ日和 ～The Wolf Whistling Song)" as the ED of "Ookami to Koushinryou". After the relaunch, songs such as "リトルグッバイ", "Ringo Biyori (リンゴ日和 ～The Wolf Whistling Song)", and "Perfect World" featured 有馬野絵 as the main vocalist.
The group's official web presence is maintained on a Cocolog-based site. In 2010, the duo appeared at the "ゼーガペイン Blu-ray BOX発売記念イベント ＜2学期直前！ゼーガペイン夏祭り＠舞浜サーバー＞", where it performed "and you" and "リトルグッバイ".
