Rina Aiuchi is a Japanese singer and solo J-pop artist from Higashiōsaka, Osaka, known for her polished, melodic pop style and long career in Japanese mainstream music. Born on 31 July 1980, she is also known by her real name, 愛内 里菜, and was associated with Giza Studio during her career.
Before focusing fully on music, Aiuchi worked as a Gal fashion magazine model. Over time, she also performed under the names Rikako Kakiuchi, Rika Kakiuchi, and R, reflecting different phases of her public activity and artistic identity while remaining rooted in pop performance. Between 2011 and 2014, she stepped away from music and spent that period studying for dog-related licenses while creating the dog brand Bon Bon Copine. She later returned to performing as Rika Kakiuchi, continued as R until 2021, and then resumed the name Rina Aiuchi.
