Retroriron

Retroriron is a Japanese three-piece rock band formed in June 2020 by classmates at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. The group is signed to Universal Music / Polydor Records, and announced its major debut under the label during the Tokyo date of "RETRORIRON ONEMAN TOUR 2025" on April 6, 2025. In February 2026, the band appeared on a large Spotify billboard in New York’s Times Square. The following month, Retroriron announced "Ego" as its first anime theme song; the song serves as the opening theme for "Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu." Its music video was released in May 2026. Around the same period, the group remained active on the live circuit, including appearances at BOOM KYO PROTOSTAR and からつドロップ, and drew notice around its tour finale in April 2026. On June 25, 2026, bassist Kazuaki Iinuma announced his departure from the band. Retroriron then unveiled the song "Midnight Time Capsule" on June 30, a track themed around the dreams they had as children, before Iinuma left after the "RETRORIRON ONE-MAN ROAD TOUR 2026 - SUMMER -" performance at LIVE HOUSE J in Nagano Prefecture on July 4, 2026.
