Plastic Tree

Plastic Tree is a Japanese visual kei and alternative rock band formed in December 1993. The group consists of Ryūtarō Arimura, Akira Nakayama, and Hiroshi Sasabuchi. Its music is defined by Ryūtarō’s distinctive vocals, guitar-driven writing, and reflective lyrics. Plastic Tree’s sound blends melody, melancholy, and atmospheric arrangements, moving between restrained intimacy and larger, more dramatic passages while drawing on j-rock and post-punk influences. The band has released music through Tokuma Japan Communications Co., Ltd. and has performed "Future Colours," the ending theme for "Yu-Gi-Oh!".
