Omedetai Atama de Naniyori (オメでたい頭でなにより) is a Japanese band featuring Sekihan (赤飯) on vocals, Ponikingdum (ぽにきんぐだむ) on guitar and vocals, Mitsuyo (324) on guitar, mao on bass, and Mitojuu (ミト充) on drums.
The group originally performed as Sekihan Band (赤飯バンド) before formally announcing its current name on August 29, 2016 during a live performance. That transition marked the start of their activity under the Omedetai Atama de Naniyori name and established the lineup that would carry the project forward.
Between 2016 and 2018, Omedetai Atama de Naniyori was active under Naniyori Records. This period helped define the band’s early identity and set the stage for its later major-label move.
In Spring 2018, the band made its major debut through Pony Canyon with "Hiizuru Basho (日出ズル場所)", the ending theme for Hinomaruzumou. The release became an important milestone in the group’s career and connected Omedetai Atama de Naniyori more directly with anime theme song audiences.
