No Regret Life was a Japanese rock band from Kanoya, Kagoshima Prefecture, formed in January 2001 and active until July 2013. Signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan, the group worked within pop rock and rock with a straightforward alternative-rock sensibility, building its songs around melodic guitar work, clean hooks, expressive vocals, and emotionally direct songwriting. Early releases balanced urgency and reflection, beginning with the album "Tomorrow Is The Another Day" in 2002 and the mini-album "My Life, My Song, My Mind" in 2004. The band made its major debut on February 9, 2005 with the single "メロディー" through Sony Music Associated Records.
No Regret Life reached a wider audience in 2005 when "Nakushita Kotoba" was used as the ending theme for Naruto. It continued releasing music through the 2000s, including the albums "Sign" (2006), "Allegro" (2007), "Wheels Of Fortune" (2008), and "Discovery" (2011), while maintaining a style centered on clarity, dynamics, and lyrical sincerity. In 2010 the band left Sony Music Associated Records and GROWING UP, established the independent label "spiral-motion," and released the mini-album "Magical Destiny e.p." there. On January 1, 2013, No Regret Life announced that it would end activities, began the final tour "No Regret Life LAST TOUR 2013 \"Memory & Record\"" on May 24, and released the mini-album "Memory & Record e.p." before disbanding in July 2013.
