Mikuni Shimokawa (下川みくに), born March 19, 1980, in Shinhidaka, Hokkaido, is a Japanese j-pop and anison singer whose career began in the late 1990s. She first entered the music industry in 1998 as a member of the girl idol group Checkicco, and that experience gave her a foundation in idol-pop before she moved into solo work.
