Rie Takahashi is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Saitama Prefecture, Japan, born on February 27, 1994. She is best known in anime for voicing Emilia in Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, a role that helped establish her as one of the most recognizable names in contemporary anime voice acting. Alongside her voice work, she has also developed a solo music career, performing live and releasing original material under her own name.
In 2026, Takahashi released her third EP, Kimi Ka Netsuchuu (黄身加熱中), after moving to a new Sony Music label. That same period brought 'Re:You', her first original song in three years and her first credited attempt at lyric writing.
