Biography

Larval Stage Planning was a Japanese J-pop vocal unit formed in 2010 and associated with Lantis and I've Sound. Named by 高瀬一矢, it originally featured Airi Kirishima, Nami Maisaki, and Rin Asami, with singer Eiko Shimamiya serving as the group's vocal coach. The project's work centered on anime- and game-oriented pop. Before the unit's full launch, Kirishima had already debuted as a solo vocalist in 2009 with "Two heaRt," the opening theme for the game Futa-Ane. The song was composed by Maiko Iuchi and written by Kotoko. She later recorded another solo track, "Kizuna: Endless Days." Larval Stage Planning made its recording debut on June 22, 2010, with "Send-off〜涙色のスタートライン〜" on the I've concept album SHORT CIRCUIT III. That was followed by the single "Rolling Star☆彡" on July 23. In 2011, the unit announced its major-label debut on Lantis with "Kimi + Nazo + Watashi de JUMP!! (君+謎+私でJUMP!!)." It later released "Trip -innocent of D-" in 2012 and "Sympathy" in 2013, both used as opening themes for High School DxD. The group then issued its first album, "LSP," on November 6, 2013. On March 9, 2014, Nami Maisaki and Rin Asami were announced to graduate. From April, the project continued as a solo unit led by Kirishima, and that lineup later released "Stargazer" on October 29, 2014. Larval Stage Planning ended activity on July 31, 2019, when Kirishima's artist contract with I've concluded. After that, she continued under the name DJ AIRI KIRISHIMA.
