Larval Stage Planning is a Japanese J-pop vocal unit formed in 2010 and associated with Lantis and I've Sound. The project originally featured Airi Kirishima, Nami Maisaki, and Rin Asami, and it was developed under the guidance of singer Eiko Shimamiya, who also served as the group's vocal coach.
The unit became known through its connection to the I've Sound production circle and its anime- and game-oriented pop sound. Before the full group launch, Airi Kirishima had already debuted as a solo vocalist in 2009 with "Two heaRt," the opening theme for the game Futa-Ane. The song was composed by Maiko Iuchi and written by Kotoko, two names strongly associated with the I've Sound scene.
Kirishima later recorded another solo track, "Kizuna: Endless Days," further linking the project to that same musical world. Over time, the lineup changed, and by 2014 only Kirishima remained, turning Larval Stage Planning into a solo unit. The group remains a notable example of the way J-pop vocal projects, game music, and anime-related production overlap in the Japanese music industry.
